ওর বাবা গত ১৫ বছর যাবত অসুস্থ। চিকিৎসকরা acute myocardial infarction এর ডায়াগনসিস করেছিলেন। সেই থেকে ধীরে ধীরে উনার স্বাস্থ্যের অবনতি হতে থাকে।
পরবর্তীতে এর থেকে dilated cardiomyopathy হয়ে গিয়েছে। এরপর অশোক ওর বাবাকে নিয়ে কলকাতায় এপোলো হসপিটালে গিয়েছিলো। ওখানকার ডাক্তার biventricular pacemaker লাগাতে বলেছেন। যেটার খরচ বাবত সাড়ে পাচ লক্ষ টাকা লাগবে। কিন্তু টাকার ঘাটতি থাকায় তখন এটা করা সম্ভব হয়নি।
এখন তার বাবার অবস্থা খুবই খারাপ।হঠাৎ করে হ্রদযন্ত্র বন্ধ হওয়ার উপক্রম হয়। উনার ejection fraction মাত্র ২৫%। এখন ডাক্তার অবশ্যই যত তাড়াতাড়ি সম্ভব CRTP transplant করাতে বলেছেন। আর্থিক সমস্যা থাকার কারনে এখনো কিছুই করতে পারছে না । তাছাড়া প্রতিদিনই অনেক টাকার ঔষধ লাগে যার খরচ বহন করতেও রীতিমত অনেক কষ্ট হচ্ছে৷
অশোক এখন তার জন্মদাতা পিতার চিকিৎসার জন্য সকলের কাছে সাহায্যপ্রার্থী ।
আমাদের সম্মিলিত সাহায্যে হয়তো ওর বাবার চিকিৎসাটা আরও দ্রুত সম্পন্ন করা সম্ভব হবে৷

I am sorry but totally rubbish. Being a doctor why did he go abroad? Couldn’t he find out any professor here? There are already a few world renowned Professors here. Why didn’t he go to them? Did he go to PG? Or NICVD? As he is a doctor, he would get help anywhere. But I guess it’s already too late and it’s his own fault. I would suggest him to take his father to BSMMU. It will cheaper and better than India. There is no cardiac operation that’s better done in India than Bangladesh. But yes if he wants best, he has to go to either China, Singapore or Malaysia. Plus I surely know only one surgeon in Bangladesh who does operation with low EF patients with success.
