Job Description / Responsibility
Monitor study activities at different MOHFW facilities selected by the project.
Organize training and capacity building activities for the project staff and MOHFW staff.
Supervise a team of data collectors in collaboration with Field Research Officer and provide technical guidance to collect medical data.
Perform facility surveillance or observe service provider at different designated health facilities.
Clinical assessment, enrollment and management of under 5 children at hospital and/or community after obtaining informed consent from the parents;
The incumbent will collect cerebrospinal fluid from the selected infants and assist/supervise laboratory technician to collect other specimens
S/he will be responsible for providing clinical training to project staff and supervise them for maintaining quality of project activities.
Supervision, monitoring and quality assurance of the project activities;
Liaison and coordination with GoB/MOHFW and other partners
Visit community and perform validation of CHW’s assessment and QA of data collection by the data collectors as and when necessary;
Assist supervisor in carrying out any other related tasks as and when required.
Duty station: Lakshmipur-1/Sylhet: Kaligonj-1/ Kanaighat -1
The appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 1 year, but may be extended for further period depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

Other Benefits
Salary: Tk. 5,53,591 (Five lac fifty three thousand five hundred and ninety one taka only) per annum including house rent, conveyance and medical allowance and other admissible benefits.

Job Description / Responsibility:
Lead a team of Study Physicians, Lab technician/ Paramedics and Porter in Sylhet M A G Osmani Medical College Hospital and other designated hospital under Projahnmo operations in Sylhet.
Supervise the hospital activities including screening of under five children and enrollment of children as per case definition in designated hospitals in Sylhet. Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures for sample collection, processing, storage and transportation to study lab.
Provide support to the team for collecting socio-demographic, morbidity and care seeking data along with anthropometric and other measurements working in collaboration with the project manager and investigators.
Assist in training needs identification for the team and arrange in different training events as and when required. Train and retrain the study team with support from the other study personnel. As part of routine study need, attend routine supervisory meetings of the study team and ensure linkage with field team as per project guideline.
Assist developing data collection tools and guidelines as per the need of the study with the help of the study manager and investigators.
Liaison and coordination with GoB/MOHFW and other partners and other hospitals in Sylhet for smooth implementation of the project activities.
Prepare regular and on demand reports for the study. Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.
