দেশের সরকারি-বেসরকারি সব মেডিকেল কলেজ তিনটি মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধিভুক্ত করার উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে সরকার। এমন খবর জানিয়েছেন, স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী মোহাম্মদ নাসিম।
গতকাল রোববার বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অঙ্গ প্রতিস্থাপনবিষয়ক সম্মেলনের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে মোহাম্মদ নাসিম এ কথা বলেন। সোসাইটি অব অরগান ট্রান্সপ্লান্টেশন অব বাংলাদেশ এর আয়োজন করে।
মেডিকেল কলেজগুলোকে বিভাগ অনুযায়ী মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধীনে আনার উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়েছে।
পাবলিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে বেড়িয়ে, মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধীনে গেলে, মেডিকেল কলেজগুলোর প্রসাশনিক কাজে আরও অগ্রগতি আসবে বলে ধারনা করা হচ্ছে।
ঢাকা বিভাগের মেডিকেল কলেজগুলো বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (বিএসএমএমইউ) অধীনে আনা হবে। চট্টগ্রাম ও রাজশাহী অঞ্চলের কলেজগুলো যথাক্রমে চট্টগ্রাম মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও রাজশাহী মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আওতায় যাবে। এতে কলেজ পরিচালনা সহজ হবে।
বর্তমানে মেডিকেল কলেজগুলোর শিক্ষার্থীরা ঢাকা, চট্টগ্রাম ও রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে নিবন্ধিত হন। এমবিবিএস পাস করার পর তাঁরা এসব বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সনদ পান।
তাছাড়া, উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে, বিদেশে চিকিৎসা নিতে যাওয়ার প্রবণতা কমেছে উল্লেখ করে মোহাম্মদ নাসিম বলেন, ‘একটি হাসপাতাল যদি ১১০০ টাকায় ডায়ালাইসিস সেবা দিতে পারে, তা হলে অন্যরা পারবে না কেন?’
অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন আয়োজক সংগঠনের সভাপতি অধ্যাপক হারুন-অর-রশীদ। অনুষ্ঠানে বিএসএমএমইউর উপাচার্য কামরুল হাসান খান, বাংলাদেশ মেডিকেল অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি মোস্তফা জালাল মহিউদ্দিন, স্বাধীনতা চিকিৎসক পরিষদের সভাপতি ইকবাল আর্সলান প্রমুখ বক্তব্য দেন।

A pakistani MBBS before pass,during 4th year, can give a foreign/US medical Board Final exam just due to there improve mark sheet,where as a Bangladeshi fully passed MBBS+intern end dr.can do such in delay after 2years.
Doctors mark sheet/transcript need to change in credit hours and GPA system-it can change before this big one as it is more easy to do.As the famous private universities can give the mark sheet/transcript in credit hours and GPA system ,why doctors cannot be given.IF DOCTORS MBBS study hours would be calculated,it would be not less then 160-180credit hours.And as pass mark is more then 50%,so GPA of every doctors should not be less then 2.5-3minimum.

Not only this above problem a indian MBBS holder can earn a MD degree by 3years after MBBS,where as in practically a Bangladesh huge doctor earn that MD in 5-10yeras after pass MBBS ..SO before pass MD degree a bangladeshi dr.had to work as just MBBS holder in foreign country like saudi,quater,kuwait,Dubai under a Indian ir pakistani MD holder specialist who is less experience then him but just due to a degree MD after 3years of MBBS ,the indian /pakistani doctor in getting more salary and become boss of a bangladeshi highly experience doctor.SO if govt.is not looking to change this mark sheet quickly the doctors need to do something that can give Bangladeshi doctors more respect,more earning in foreign.
